A tumble dryer can be found in the garden shed along with lounging deckchairs. For excellent weather days, the rotary washing line can be utilised too. The intimate lounge, where plush seating beckons, and a wood fire burner flickers in harmony with the glow of the television. Firewood and kindling is available upon request. Ascend the stairs to discover the two bedrooms and a bathroom adorned with a standard-size bath with an electric shower unit, sink, and toilet—a sanctuary within a sanctuary. The master bedroom, adorned with a dreamy king size bed, and the twin single room invite you to embrace the tranquillity of your surroundings. This accommodation is ‘baby’ friendly and comes with a travel cot, high chair and bottom stair fitted gate. The charm of this barn conversion is preserved with its original character with wooden floorboards, sloping ceilings, and exposed timbers, inviting you to traverse through time. Parking for two cars awaits, ensuring a seamless arrival. Buckland Park is a sanctuary for birds and wildlife, cradles this haven, offering a serenade of nature’s symphony—a perfect refuge for couples seeking to unravel the mysteries of the South Hams coastline and countryside.

The are a variety of places to stop off and grab a coffee, cake or bite to eat on your walk. The well known Beachhouse @ South Milton offers breakfasts, coffees and cake and then for lunch and evenings the freshest of seafood with a great beach vibe atmosphere. Further on the village of Hope Cove offers a variety of pubs, bars and hotels, where you are spoilt for choice. Bantham Beach hosts the Gastro Buses offering coffee, cakes, ice cream, burgers and pizza. Quite often in the summer you can enjoy an early evening sundowner at the Cider Bus accompanied with some subtle live music. In the village there is The Sloop Inn and Bantham Café boasting an outside deck overlooking the Estuary wildlife. Further afield you have the local towns of Salcombe, the sailing mecca with its boutique shops, galleries and bistro dining, Kingsbridge a hub of a market town providing the best local produce to make a feast. There is so much to explore and do in the South Hams area, from walking, surfing, paddleboarding, sailing, National Trust properties and museums and local history.
