Take a trip to Worthing and stroll along the pier, 5 miles, Arundel Castle and cathedral are 10 miles away and you can also take a boat out on the River Arun, or a boat safari from the Arundel Wetland Centre. Petworth House and Park are well worth visiting or head over to Goodwood for the races, either horses or cars, 19 miles.
