Bedford park is a lovely area to walk and explore nature. If you fancy a beer, there are many pubs on the main street such as the Walnut Pub, within walking distance. I highly recommend taking a trip up the hill to Cefn Cribwr and popping into the Three Horseshoes Community Pub - owned and run by the locals. It is a trek up the hill or a short bus ride, but worth it for the views to Porthcawl and Aberavon beaches. Sit on the bench at the top and enjoy the view before heading to the pub. Asda is your local supermarket and garage if you need to refuel. There is a bus stop on the main road this will take you into the seaside town of Porthcawl with many pubs, restaurants & cafe bars, beautiful beaches and of coarse the infamous Elvis Festival once a year! The journey is approx 30 mins by bus or 15 mins by taxi,
The property is well placed for Margam Park, just 12 minutes by car and is a good base if you are visiting for the weekend to attend the 'In it together' festival.
A must visit is Aberavon Beach just a 20 minute drive away, lots to do and see and a beautiful beach to walk along. Please note that you are booking a room in a 4 bedroom semi detached property on an estate. You will be sharing a kitchen and Bathroom, unless in the en-suite room, with the other guests.
