The rooms are in a large bungalow at the end of our long drive off a quiet country lane so it is very peaceful here. Guests have their own entrance into a small kitchenette area. Guests have use of this room which has a fridge, toaster and microwave.
The rooms have just been refurbished to a very high standard with all new furniture and comfy beds (according to recent guests feedback )plus all new bedding.
There is plenty of parking.
Breakfast consists of a selection of cereals, juice, tea coffee, toast , jams, honey,marmalade, fresh fruit salad , Greek yogurt, granola and fruit yogurts or a cooked breakfast. If you do not want any time restrictions for the breakfast we can leave a selection of breakfast for you in the guests kitchen.

Southwold has a kingsize bed , ideal for families we have a travel cot. 2 adults and up to 2 children 1 baby. Dog friendly . Incurs a fee. Enquire

Chris and Clive have recently moved to their home here in Chediston. We wanted to open our home up to guests and look forward to meeting lots of different people from all over and we want to make your stay with us as comfy as possible and make sure you have anything you need to make your stay feel like home from home.
We have bought up our three children and the last one and our grandchild left just before we moved. We recently had our family including 4 under 4's grandchildren stay. So we are very used to being very adaptable.
We have spent the last 4 months renovating and Clive is a carpenter /builder he has put a lot off work in to ensure the rooms are just how we would like them if we stayed as guests. Chris was working in the NHS and is looking forward to making this guest house , their home, a success.
Blyth Lodge is in the hamlet of Chediston. We are on the no. 1 cycle route and it is prime cycling and walking countryside.
We are 2 miles from the lovely market town of Halesworth. There are lots of cafes and some pubs and restaurants. There is a very big Arts and Culture feel and there are exhibitions , music, festivals, events ,not just here but in other local parts of Suffolk.
We are 20 minutes to the coast Southwold, Walberswick,Thorpness. Aldburgh are just a few of the quaint coastal places. You can walk the beaches for miles and miles here in Suffolk where you can also fish from the beach.
Just up the road from us is a trout fishing lake. There are fishing lakes about 2 miles from us . Minsmere Nature Reserve for birdwatching and walking and seeing other nature is 20 mins away .
For kids we have our local Camel Oasis very good value for money and 3 miles away. Africa Live , Great Yarmouth, Gorleston are a bit further afield but all less than 50 mins.
We can look after your bikes.
Suffolk is very dog friendly.The Wisset Plough pub is 25 mins walk.
