This 250 year-old traditional English inn is set in the attractive village of Cloughton, 4 miles from Scarborough. This family-run property offers cosy rooms with free Wi-Fi and a charming restaurant with classic British cuisine and roaring log fires. The restored Blacksmiths Arms Inn still retains its charming period features. Rooms are attractively decorated and equipped with a flat-screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities and a hairdryer. Some rooms also boast a luxurious four-poster bed. A full English breakfast is available and the intimate, oak-beamed Blacksmiths Arms restaurant serves homemade specialties for lunch and dinner, as well as Sunday lunches. The well preserved bar areas feature antique furnishings and cosy log fires, offering an authentic English inn experience. Set on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, the inn has free parking. Scenic Robin Hood’s Bay is only 15 minutes’ drive away, while Whitby is 14 miles away.
