Garreg Ddu is a mid-terrace cottage situated in the village of Blaenau Ffestiniog, Snowdonia. Hosting two bedrooms; a king-size, and a double, along with a ground floor shower room, this property can sleep up to four people. Inside you will also find a first floor cloakroom, kitchen, and a sitting room with dining area and wood burning stove. To the outside is roadside parking on a first come, first served basis, and a front patio with seating, along with a rear yard. Resting in a charming location with characterful attractions to explore, Garreg Ddu is a wonderful cottage in a historic part of Wales. The historic slate town of Blaenau Ffestiniog is situated in a superb, central position for exploring the Snowdonia National Park, and has a good selection of amenities. The main local attractions include the slate mines where visitors can take fascinating underground trips to see mining as it was done in days gone by - and the famous narrow gauge Ffestiniog mountain railway which runs for 13 miles through the Snowdonia National Park to the harbour town of Porthmadog. Many glorious local beaches, suitable for children, are within easy driving distance.
