Bars Hill cottage, is a lovely 3 bedroom cottage in the heart of Cowes Old Town just moments from the esplanade. Bars Hill cottage is a Grade II listed 3 bedroom cottage. The entrance to the cottage is tucked away from the road, the accommodation is set over 3 floors. On the ground floor are two bedrooms (one single and one twin) and a shower room and toilet. The original winding stairs lead up to the open plan living room with a compact galley kitchen, there is a useful study area with desk, opening onto to a little terrace. A secret staircase leads to the 2nd floor where there is a master bedroom with king size bed and ensuite bathroom. You can glimpse the sails of passing yachts from the window. Please note the cottage does have small steep staircases. The cottage is located a few moment’s walk from Northwood park, or you can stroll along the High Street, Parade and Esplanade for wonderful views of the bustling harbour and across The Solent. See the prestigious yacht clubs and, if you are lucky, hear the small cannon at the Royal Yacht Squadron fire to start or finish a yacht race. The cottage is located just behind Cowes Parade and both the High Street and seafront are on your doorstep (it is also less than 5 minutes walk to the Red Jet foot ferry to Southampton).
