The appartment is situated on a wild coastline. it is very near to the beach of Pyrefite, know for the underwater snorkelling path. Situated in the heart of the marine national park, the sea is rich and abundant with all types of fish, sea grass and cold water coral. Canoes are also available to rent on Pyrefite beach. The area in summer is perfect for people who enjoy the challenge of walking the rugged coastal path and stopping on secluded coves for swims. The appartment is a 15 minute drive away from Banyuls sur Mer, a charming seaside resort filled with bustle , narrow streets and attractions such as pedalo boats or the Biodiversarium, an aquarium dedicated to local species of sea creatures. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT SHEETS PILLOW CASES AND TOWELS ARE NOT PROVIDED IN THE APPARTMENT AND VISITORS MUST BRING THEIR OWN. The double bed measures approximately 140 by 200 cms and the single bunk beds 90 by 200cms. There is plenty of free parking available on the property. there is a large parking at the top of the residence and the possiblity to park in front of the appartment on weekends for loading and unloading. Historic Collioure, with its castle and narrow winding streets on the sea front. 10 minutes from Spanish border and unspoilt wild national park, perfect for walking and sea swimming. 1 hour and 15 minutes from beautiful seaside spanish town of Cadaqués. Cadaqués is a pictoresque village where numerous well known artists such as Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso , Joan Miro have lived or passed their holidays. Salvodor Dalis house in Cadaqués has now been transformed into a museum. I recomend taking time to explore the intriguing and untouched part of spanish coastline South of Cerbere.
