House locates in the center of old calm village near the mountain lake. It is perfect place enjoy the outdoors, hiking, biking, fishing, swimming. We have two restaurants in the centre of village serving drinks, snacks and offering live music nights in summer. "La petit Auberge" and "Cafe de France" .There is a nice restaurant in nearby village Joch, just 5 minutes by car called "l'Escola". All nights are very quiet. But the day is full of life and friendly Catalan locals. There are two bars-restaurants nearby, and a local grocery store. On Tuesdays and Thursdays there is a local fruit and vegetable market. Public transport is very reliable. The bus to Perpignan and back (for 1 Euro) is every 2-3 hours. The studio is well located between the mountains and the Mediterranean Sea. The Pic du Canigou is 29 minutes away by car. Many hiking trails around for beginners and more experienced hikers. The Mediterranean sea and all the beautiful seaside resorts Collioure, Argelès, the beaches of Banyuls are about 40 minutes away by car. Font-Romeu ski resort is in the opposite direction about an hour by car. Andorra and Barcelona are about 2h30 by car. The hot springs and mineral spas are about 15-40 mins drive away.
