Welcome to LA PLACE, a charming guest house in the center of the historic village of Tourbes, a typical Occitanie village in the South of France (Hérault). The 19th century house has been completely renovated with respect for the local architecture, to offer you the best comfort in a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. Whether for a romantic stay, a family vacation or a stopover on the road to Spain, you will be charmed by this authentic winegrower's house, its spacious bedrooms decorated with style, its outdoor and indoor relaxation areas, and its atmosphere. All our rooms have air conditionning, and are equipped with large beds (Queen or King size), a lounge area, a private bathroom with walk-in shower and separate toilets. Take a good time in our shaded outdoor courtyard, stroll through our charming village or in the surrounding wine estates. Additional info: - All our rooms are all located upstairs, 1st or second floor, without an elevator. - Food and picnics are not allowed in the rooms. - during the weekends of July - August (starting sometimes on Friday), festive events take place on the Church Square: this therefore causes noise pollution until around half past midnight.
Nestled on the slopes of wooded hills, in the heart of the Languedoc vineyards, Tourbes benefits from a privileged geographical location: 20 minutes from the beaches, 15 minutes from Béziers, 45 minutes from Montpellier, one hour from the hinterland (Lac de Salagou, Pic St Loup, Espinouse, Caroux mountains, Cévennes foothills, Black Mountain, Larzac plateau, etc.), access to the A75 is 3 minutes away. The festive town of Pézenas is just 5 minutes away: with a rich cultural program throughout the year combining music, cinema, theater, literature, dance and traditional festivals. The historic center, renowned for its architectural wealth in which you will find shops where craftsmen create and design. The city is also known for its antique and second-hand dealers with its 2 annual fairs in May and October. The nearest airport is Beziers Cap d'Agde Airport, 25 km from the homestay.
