Our house is located in a small village in the Basque Country located in the mountains of the province of "Basse Navarre"/Lower Navarre. The old house was built on land originally triangular, which gives it an unusual shape. The last traces papers on this work date back to 1892. It is acts recorded by a notary of Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port. The construction of the house probably goes several years back. The interior design is mainly based on the memories of trips and for most furniture from the family. As soon as the front door cross the visitor will be welcomed warmly and soon will experience the serenity that emanates from our home. The simplicity of exchanges and the quality of the services offered will this stop in the Basque Country a great time that all the visitors received regrets as not extended. ed.
Having traveled and continues to do so we are a couple loving life and enjoying the wealth that comes from trade with other travelers from all backgrounds. We attach particular importance to what people staying in our home feel good and enjoy this stop. Also welcoming the pilgrims who start from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port to walk on "el camino frances" to Santiago de Compostela, we strive to make their stay under the sign of serenity and preparation in an environment calm and reassuring.
The Basque Country in general and Lower Navarre in particular are of extreme wealth and beauty as to possible activities and landscapes encountered. The Basque Country is also and above all a culture rooted in a past and a land where everything is worth living and stay attached forever. Basque mountain indeed offers a multitude of beautiful sights and unique and authentic places in their natural simplicity. Most of the rural activity is focused on breeding sheep, cheese making, the use of land, vineyards and livestock Basque piebald pig race threatening to disappear twenty years ago. The Basque Country is not reveals like this, either, and there are still many other things to discover in making the effort to want to find out...
