Built in 1910 to accommodate the local Priest and Nuns, today Le petit Couvent is a spacious, well equipped gite, which has been finished to the highest standard. The Gite accommodates up to 5 people (more one baby as we have a special bed for baby). The cottage is semi-detached with the owners being just next door should you need anything throughout your stay. Downstairs is an open plan living and dining area, with tables, sideboards, sofas and chairs, a large wood burner, TV. The fully equipped kitchen has a twin electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, and a wide variety of cooking equipment and utensils.   Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, one triple and one double. The spacious, upstairs bathroom has a roll top bath, toilet, and twin vanity units. There is also a separate walk-in shower room.  ​ There is no smoking allowed at all within the gite. ​ Access to our garden, with our lovely 9m x 4m overground swimming pool and terrace is unlimited but is shared with the owners.

We are Aura & Sylvain, your hosts and owner's of Le Petit Couvent in Musculdy, in the Pyrénées Atlantiques region, southwest of France. A bicultural couple with common passions: good food, jazz, traveling, making new friends. Our experiences as hosts have taught us the importance of good accommodation. And this time we want to be the ones who provide excellent service to our guests. Installed in the silence of the countryside, surrounded by mountains, sheeps, we can offer you quality accommodation and a multitude of things to do around our cottage.
