Xénia is a name of Greek origin that my parents chose for me in remembrance of a Russian friend of theirs. I spent my childhood in Mali, in West Africa, chatting with neighbours in the local language called Bambara and eating rice with my hands; after completing a degree in cultural events facilitation, I found a job in Chile, in South America; a few years later, I moved to Ghana in West Africa, in a job including lots of exchanges across Africa, Asia and Europe; afterwards, I embarked on an outstanding adventure driving from Denver in Colorado to Ushuaia in Argentina; once back home, I attempted a career reorientation in the food truck business, which did eventually not happen; I became instead a travel agent, an experience that the pandemic put to an end… Enjoying different cultures, exchanging and sharing with people of different backgrounds are part of my identity. Therefore, opening a Bed and Breakfast in la Charité-Sur-Loire was a natural next step in my life. I will be delighted to welcome you to Le patio de Xénia to share experiences, enjoy homemade meals prepared with passion, or taste local wines nearby. I will also share my thorough knowledge of the region to recommend unforgettable sightseeing experiences.
