Le nid d'hirondelle is a micro-gite which has been thoughtfully planned out to ensure a relaxing comfortable stay. Inside the gite there is a kitchenette with 2 hobs, a microwave, mini-oven and fridge-freezer. It is fully equipped to cook a range of meals. There is both a seating and dining area. Each is suitable for two people. The bed is on a mezzanine and accessed via a ladder. (Please note there is restricted headroom and the ladder is quite steep). There is a luxury shower room with a large shower, wash basin and toilet. Outside there is a small private garden with a terraced area. A barbeque is provided during the summer months.

My husband and I, along with our 3 dogs and 2 cats, have been living in France for just over 4 years. We previously ran a successful Gite d'etape but decided that we would prefer to offer self-contained spaces and moved house in order to do this. We enjoy living in France and now have a number of French friends. Along with a French friend I run a knit and natter group in Huelgoat. We meet every Wednesday afternoon and anyone is welcome to come and join us.

Le nid d'hirondelle is in Huelgoat and walking distance to a number of amenities. There are a range of bars, cafes and restaurants within Huelgoat. There are two supermarkets, a boulangerie and a street market every Thursday morning. From the gite it is possible to walk out into the famous forest. A number of different routes are sign-posted.
