## The neighborhood Gujan-Mestras is located to the south of the Arcachon basin, in the Pays de Buch region. Considered to be the capital of the Arcachon oyster industry, Gujan-Mestras is home to seven harbours that face the basin from west to east: the port of La Hume, which combines oyster farming and yachting, the port of Meyran, the port of Gujan, the port of Larros with its promenade jetty and active shipbuilding centre (Couach), the port of Canal, the port of La Barbotière, an oyster-farming centre, which is also home to the lycée des métiers de la mer and the Maison de la conchyliculture (shellfish farming centre) the port of La Mole, which has never been dredged or used because it is difficult to access. ## Getting around The flat has a parking space, not assigned but a video will be sent to you to show you the locations.
