Come and enjoy the charm of our very original historic four-storey stone house in the heart of the old town of Forcalquier. Beautiful stone and clay tiled floors, stone spiral staircase, and a relaxing patio leading off the kitchen where you can spend summer evenings. Although the house is in a quiet part of Forcalquier, it is only a few minutes' walk from bars and restaurants. The famous Monday-morning market is also just a short walk away. As you enter the house you come into a hall/living room; on the first floor is a modern kitchen opening on to a private terrace; on the second floor is the living room/bedroom with a sofa bed and on the top floor a large, bright, airy bedroom with en-suite bathroom and mezzanine. The view from there is lovely, looking out across the roof tops to the moutains beyond Forcalquier.

Having lived in the area for over 15 years I will be happy to give you advice on places to visit, hiking and cycling routes, places to swim etc. I live right next door and you can contact me at any time; equally, you will have complete privacy and I won't bother you if you prefer it that way.
