This gite is set in stunning tranquil country side, and yet it’s only a quiet 25 min walk into the bustling Bastide town if Eymet. Eymet has lots to offer, the square in buzzing in the evening with restaurants and cafes. During the day there are fun markets and during the night night fabulous food markets. The walk into Eymet takes you down a quiet farm lane. The area spills over with places to discover. Kayaking on the Dordogne River, horse riding, tennis courts close by and a good bike hire shop in Eymet. Ofcourse, last but not least, there are some incredible local vineyards to visit. The kitchen is well equipped, and there is a beautiful antique sofa. The gite has a large separate modern shower room. Walnut has its own private terrace to sit out and enjoy the wonderful view of the valley peaking through the trees. The heated, shared Romanesque pool is surrounded by a luscious garden wall. The whole property, Sainte- Marthe, is a highly renovated 300 year old farm. Tricia our house manager will meet you in person if needed.
