The new owners of the Auberge de la Sagne are Jane and Richard Paine from England. Having travelled extensively in France on holiday for more than 30 years and already owning a small holiday home in Tarn et Garonne they have fallen in love with the people, culture and lifestyle of the country. They decided to make it their permanent home in May 2019.
They were extremely lucky to find the Auberge De La Sagne which offered them the business they
wanted together with their own living space and extensive gardens.
Over the last 18 months, they have taken on major renovations and the redecoration of all rooms in the Auberge, and the remodeling of the roof and terrace and replanting the gardens.
Each room has been individually tailored with guest comfort in mind to ensure your stay is as enjoyable as possible. The garden offers several seating areas to enjoy the beauty and peace of the surrounding cliffs together with the many birds, butterflies and wildlife this area has to offer.
The Auberge has now been open since May 2021 and offers gourmet evening meals together with the Chambres d’Hotes which allows Richard to indulge in his passion for cooking with locally sourced ingredients.
