Dating back to 1871, this charming hotel is located right in Madrid’s historic, central district Barrio de Las Letras, the most vibrant and fun area of the city. The Persal is sited on the pedestrianised Plaza del Angel, just a few minutes’ walk from the famous Plaza Mayor, the Prado Museum, and the Royal Palace and only 150 m from Puerta del Sol and the Sol metro station, which offers a direct connection to Barajas Airport and Atocha train station. In front of the hostel and in the adjoining Plaza de Santa Ana, you will enjoy, day and night, the best places for tapas, cocktails, lunch and dinner on terraces and dancing.
