A natural area that primarily consists of protected forest, bog and lakes, which was previously Denmark's famous plant nursery with imports of foreign and exotic plants, and which, among other things, counts royal houses and the country's botanical gardens as major customers. The past as a nursery still leaves its mark in Langesø to this day. Everywhere you are met by a wide range of plants from all parts of the world: lotus, rhododendron, water lilies, ferns etc. The lush plant life mixes in a charming way with the area's many small lakes and streams and at the same time forms fertile ground for a rich and wild animal life.
