After dreaming of becoming holiday home owners for several years, we bought the cottage in February 2020 and thoroughly enjoyed having a little 'sanctuary' during the lockdown. Our three children are all grown up now, so it's especially now that we have the time to enjoy our sanctuary. We fell in love with Nysted on our first visit. Here we have it all - a cozy and very authentic market town with few but good shops, fine restaurants and a fantastic bakery. We love our sanctuary. It's where we relax and unwind. We enjoy nature and tranquillity and love the beautiful walks in the area - along the coast, by the marina, in Aalholm Castle Park and through the city. We also like to take a drive into cozy Nykøbing Falster.
