Originally from Scotland I have lived and worked in Germany for over 25 years. Mittenwald is very special to me and I am very lucky to be able to live and work here.

Pension Karner is a very old property full of character and very pretty. Ideally located on a quiet street just 5 minutes walk from the centre of town and just at the beginning of the beautiful walks to the Lakes, Lautersee and Ferchensee.

Mittenwald is a great location to explore the surrounding areas, whether it be visiting the fairytale castles, taking walks in the Alps, swimming in the lakes or visiting cities such as Innsbruck (30 minutes) and Munich (1.15 hours).
