The family-run Hotel Knorre lies on the banks of the River Elbe, just 2 km north of Meißen. It offers bright rooms, free parking and a traditional restaurant serving German food. Each room at the Hotel Knorre has a private bathroom, light wooden furniture and a TV. Many rooms have a balcony or a terrace. In the mornings, the Hotel Knorre serves a large breakfast buffet. The Knorre’s restaurant is open throughout the day, and offers Saxon specialities and fine wines. During summer months, drinks and meals can be enjoyed in the traditional beer garden. Interesting attractions in Meißen include the historic Old Town district and Albrechtsburg Castle.
