This Alpine-style hotel is surrounded by forest countryside in the Black Forest Nature Park, 4 km from Lake Schluchsee. The spacious rooms at Hotel Hirschen are furnished in a country house style and feature a private bathroom. All rooms include a seating area with satellite TV, and some have a balcony. The rustic-style lounge at Hotel Hirschen features wood panelling and a traditional tiled stove. A daily buffet breakfast and a selection of Black Forest specialities are served here. The Hirschen is surrounded by hiking, cycling and cross-country skiing trails, and is 15 km from the Feldberg Mountain. Parking is free at Hotel Hirschen. It is a 40-minute drive from Freiburg and the A5 motorway.
