This family-run hotel in the heart of Haßmersheim features its own boat and canoe pier as well as a terrace directly on the River Neckar. Onsite parking is free, and the A6 motorway is within a 20-minute drive. Rooms at the hotel are decorated with classic wooden furniture and warm colour schemes. All rooms are fitted with a seating area, a TV with cable channels and a private bathroom with a hairdryer and a shower. Some rooms offer views of the river. A buffet breakfast is provided each morning in the rustic-style restaurant with its traditional wooden beams and cosy fireplace. Guests can enjoy homemade fruit liqueurs as well as regional Swabian dishes prepared with locally farmed meats. Hotel-Gasthof zum Neckar is an ideal base for hiking and cycling in the Neckar-Odenwald Nature Park. There is a free garage for bicycles and motorbikes. Heidelberg is 35 km from Hotel-Gasthof zum Ritter, while Heilbronn is 19 km from the property. The nearest airport is Mannheim City Airport, 50 km from the hotel. The hotel does not have an elevator, and the rooms can only be reached via stairs. We are rated 3 stars.
