The Gasmert is located at the farmstead 498 m above sea level in the forest 536 m above sea level. From our farm you have a wide view over meadows, forests and fields. The immediate surroundings are ideal for hiking, swimming, cycling and skiing. The Gasmert belongs to the Sauerland Rothaargebirge Nature Park. The highest point of the low mountain range is the Nordhelle. Nature lovers will find beautiful hiking trails with nature reserves, moors, old trees, beautiful views and places to stop for refreshments. Several dams in the area attract water lovers in summer. In some you can swim, in others you can simply enjoy the peace and quiet while running, cycling or having a picnic.
