Welcome to beautiful Sankt Goar! Our "Bachgeflüster" holiday apartment has all the amenities you need for a relaxing and unforgettable holiday. Enjoy the view of the nearby vineyards and listen to the gentle babbling of the stream that runs right by the property. The holiday flat is on the ground floor and is approx. 60sqm in size. It offers space for up to 4 people. A car parking area is available alongside the house. As landlords, we live on the upper floor. A special feature of the holiday flat is that it is situated in a quiet peripheral location with little traffic, so that you can actively withdraw from the tourist hustle and bustle. At the same time, it i s only about 400m on foot to the nearest hiking trails, vineyards and about 10min to the Rhine and the centre of Sankt Goar.

We - that is Pascal and Kathrin - are originally form Limburg-Weilburg and Bamberg. We got married in 2023 and bought our own home at Gründelbach 99 in 2024. Most of our hobbies take place in the great outdoors. We love to go on long hikes and cycle tours. Sometimes we combine these with geocaching. Otherwise, you will finde us gardening or processing our harvest - among other things, we make our own jams, chutneys and liqueurs. Apart from that, Pascal does a lot of handicrafts and Kathrin reads or plays the piano.

There is a lot to discover in Sankt Goar - for young and old! The town's website provides an overview. We would like to recommend the following special features in Sankt Goar: Rheinfels Castle was built in 1245 by Count Diether V von Katzenelnbogen as a customs castle for ships. The castle was unsuccessfully besieged for a year in 1256. Since then it has been considered impregnable. Around 1570, the castle complex was transformed into a magnificent Renaissance palace. In 1794, the castle was handed over to the French revolutionary army without resistance. They blew up the outer works and the castle in 1796/97, making it possible to visit the impressive ruins today. A special feature is the underground maze of fortifications and mine passages, some of which can also be visited. A very special night watchman tour is also offered at irregular intervals in Sankt Goar. Another highlight in Sankt Goar is the opportunity to take a boat tour - for example to the Loreley Rock. The best-known tour is the “KD Loreley-Rundfahrt Boppard-St. Goar”, which is offered several times a day from Tuesday to Sunday. There is also a “KD Castle Cruise” between Koblenz and Mainz.
