There are many lakes around the village with beautiful bathing spots and good fishing opportunities. Carpin is a gateway to the Müritz National Park. Guided tours and hikes are possible there. There is also a restaurant directly in the village, 700 m from the vacation home. Neustrelitz is around 12 kilometers away and the spa town of Feldberg is around 14 kilometers away. There are numerous boat and bike rentals there. In Neustrelitz you can experience culture and architecture with the historic castle park, the Louisentempel, the castle church or the newly designed market square.
