- we are not a big hotel, so please respect us as we respect you.
-DUE TO GUESTS NOT FOLLOWING SWIMMING POOL RULES AND CLOGGING UP THE POOL WATER FILTERS WE DON'T ALLOW SUNTAN OIL ON THE PROPERTY. only water based swimming pool friendly ones (we will ask our maintenance company to say if its usable or not)
-Keep electric devices off when not in use
-Downstairs big A/C in living room has automatic switch off timer to prevent abuse. (below the unit near the wall plug) Please set to appropriate time when using.
-We have high water pressure device located upstairs near the bath. If you want a strong water jet please use that, but turn it off after using it.
-The water heater is not needed in most days as we have solar panels installed which boil(literally 80 degrees C) the water used for showering. Please be careful when showering as you can get scalded by the hot water. In some rare days there is no sun at all(like in Winter) and water is cold, you can use water heater for hot showers. 15 mins makes water lukewarm. 30 mins is for hot.
-No drugs/parties/illegal activities.
-Respect quiet hours/neighbourhood, it's a family area, everyone wants peace and quiet.
- Don't bring sand in the house or pool or the bath(!), use hose and shower outside house to clean sand with water.
-Use only special pool-friendly biodegradable sunscreen, oily suntan oils destroy the pool machinery and the water quality, stain the walls and tiles, making it unpleasant for the next guests as it takes time and an extra visit by the pool maintenance company to clean the excess oil. If you use non suitable sunscreen use the shower outside, wash it off and pat dry with a towel before entering pool. Some guests weren't paying attention to this small detail. Any damage related to not following pool rules to the pool will be claimed with airbnb from you or with aircover ™ subject to airbnb's ruling.
- Toilet paper and other waste in rubbish bin NOT toilet. Not even a single sheet of toilet paper. CYPRUS HAS NO CENTRAL SEWAGE SYSTEM, ALL THE RUBBISH THERE BLOCKS THE PIPES AND CAN LEAD TO UNHYGIENIC ACCIDENTS LIKE BACKFLOW OF WASTE TO THE kitchen/sink/shower DRAINS.
- Keep the house in good condition, be careful with the devices and walls. Any damage noticed please report immediately to us upon finding it, not at the end of the stay, to avoid any future issues/claims.
- No smoking indoors. Don't throw smoking buds except in the ash-trays outside or bins . Smoking buds are not biodegradable and are a major pollutant.
- Conserve water as much as possible as Cyprus has draught problems. Close all taps and prefer showers over baths
- If you notice anything is broken either at the start or during your stay, please report immediately to us at start to avoid any issues or misunderstandings. We are here to help.
-Due to unprecedented challenges to energy prices,Electricity is included in your payment BUT also calculated separately at the end of your stay SUBJECT TO FAIR USE. As we are using solar power energy generation it should not be a problem and for the average user there will be no extra fees. Some guests like to abuse A/C for example or use cryptomining hardware, they keep it on 24/7 even when outside the house. Those guests must pay more accordingly!
-Early check in and check out are possible on request on a case-by-case basis depending of whether a previous guest is staying or a new one is checking in at the time of your arrival/departure. 30 Euro charge for such service.. House calls are 20 euros.
-We can try and arrange transport for your convenience to/from the Airport (Paphos) Please ask about this and the price. (not always possible/depends on guests number/baggage/driver availability)
-Small pet dogs /cats (handheld) (chihuahas, mini doberman, pekingese etc) that are well trained and behaved and do not shed fur MAY be allowed on the property UPON REQUEST, as long as the owner guarantees the following: it stays out of the pool, no damage in furniture or garden, no animal waste inside house or stains on floors/kitchens, no fur or paw stains on furniture, no troubles with neighbours during quiet hours, and that you keep your pet safe and with you most of the time.
-You are responsible for the SAFETY and wellbeing of your children on property as there are stairs and a pool, kitchen and cleaning reagents at the pool pump station as well as stray cats (as everywhere in Cyprus), and a field with rocks nearby.
-ALWAYS KEEP YOUR CHILDREN UNDER SUPERVISION especially in the pool area! It is a rather shallow pool but accidents can happen.
