In accordance with local tax laws, all Colombian citizens and resident foreigners must pay an additional fee of 19% VAT. This VAT supplement is not included in the accommodation rates and must be paid separately.
To be exempt from this 19% VAT fee, guests must have a TP12 visa or a PIP3, PIP5, PIP6, PIP10, TP7 or TP11 stamp when entering the country. The exemption only applies to accommodation fees. The permit must be shown upon arrival.
VAT is not automatically included in the total amount of the reservation.
In accordance with Colombian law 679 of 2001, law 1,336 of 2009 and resolution 3,840 of 2009, child sexual exploitation is illegal.
