Offering panoramic views over Davos, this 4-star superior hotel features a restaurant, a bar with an open fireplace and a spa area with a heated indoor pool with bubble beds. It offers massage jets, a counter-current system and a neck shower. Free parking is available. The Waldhotel & SPA Davos - for body & soul’s Atrium restaurant serves a 4-course culinary venue daily with an emphasis on Aroma / Natural cuisine as well as international dishes and classic Grisons specialities. Spa facilities include aroma grotto, sauna and Turkish steam bath next to the indoor pool. There is also a Kneipp room and a fitness room. Massage services are available at a surcharge. The spacious rooms at the Waldhotel include a TV and a bathroom with hairdryer. Most have a south-facing balcony with views over Davos. The Waldhotel was known as the Waldsanatorium until 1957 and served as a template for the sanatorium in Thomas Mann's famous novel The Magic Mountain. Guests arriving by train can be picked up from the train station in Davos Dorf or Davos Platz on request with the Waldhotel's free shuttle bus. This bus also takes you to the nearby ski slopes.
