The Stalla d´Immez offers an open view of the mountains of the valley. The only room that has been separated from the main area is the bathroom. An unheated extension serves as a winter garden and has a wood burner. The furniture has been partly adapted to the time period in which the stable has been built (17th/18th century) and partly follows design trends between Bauhaus and the turn of the turn of the last century. The stable houses a small hand picked selection of books, an antique collection of games as well as vinyl records chosen according to the personal taste of the hosts.
Both sleeping areas are placed vertically and are equipped with double beds.
The modern kitchen invites you to experiment with different kinds of recipes, the bathroom offers a bathtub with space for two and is therefore ideal for a bath with candle light.
The rental fee includes bedding, towels and tea towels and, WIFI. You can also find kitchen essentials such as oil, vinegar, tea, coffee, spices and wood for the fireplace for the duration of your whole stay. Last but not least: the tap water in Santa Maria is of the finest quality.

The small mountain village Sta. Maria, located 1,375 metres above sea level, has an historical centre of unspoiled beauty. It is home to a number of creatives such as writers, artists, journalists of national and international reputation. In addition one can find the renowned hand weaving mill Tessanda, a museum about the exciting story of the valley during World War I, a Whiskey distillery, an antique carpenter´s workshop, two riding stables, various offers for you mental and physical health, such as Aryuvedic treatments, Shiatsu, Yoga, Zen archery, ‘Vita´ exercise courses and several walks. It houses both the smallest hospital in Switzerland as well as the smallest bar in the world.
The Val Müstair is an ecological jewel, a biosphere reserve located at the edge of the Swiss National Park in the most Eastern part of the country, on the Southern side of the alps. There are a number of leisure facilities available, most notably hiking, snowshoeing, cycling and skiing (alpine as well as Nordic). The agriculture in the area is mostly ecological. In addition the valley is shaped by the presence of the cloister San Jon in Müstair, which was founded in 800ad by Charles the Great.
