Hotel Terrasse am See is situated on the banks of Lake Lucerne, at the steamboat landing stage and the Rigi Mountain Railway Station in Vitznau. The historic hotel was opened in 1873 and dates from the earliest days of the railway service to Mount Rigi. Free Wi-Fi is featured throughout the property.
The hotel celebrates Swiss traditions and each floor of the hotel tells a story of the railway and the house. The uniquely decorated en-suite rooms at the Hotel Terrasse am See are furnished in historic style with carefully restored pieces of period furniture and old parquet floors. They feature seating areas, wired internet access as well as free WI-Fi, and some of them have a balcony.
The accommodation has a fantastic view of the lake and mountains, a garden and a restaurant. Our restaurant is currently open during the day until 6.00 pm (subject to change). Tuesday and Wednesday closed.
