Located at 1300m altitude, this very cozy mountain chalet built in Simmental architecture was fully renovated in 2024 including floor heating, homey fireplace and modern alpine style interior. It is situated within the Gstaad/Saanenmöser ski area, below the Rinderberg middle station (Eggweid) at the Hintere Wyermatte in a very quiet holiday chalet settlement. When snow conditions are good, ski-in and ski-out is possible for experienced skiers (nice off-piste descent from Rinderberg middle station to finish the day; and a short walk/pushing along the road to the Rinderberg slopes to get started). Ski-touring is possible right from the chalet up to the Rinderberg (2080m altitude). In summer, the region offers extensive possibilities for hiking and mountain biking. Scenic places include the Lauenensee near Gstaad, Glacier 3000 or the picturesque Seebergsee.

The road from Zweisimmen up to the chalet is maintained the entire year, snowplow is operating at least daily during snow falls. However, it is recommended during the winter (December to end of March typically) to use a 4-wheel drive car or bring snowchains to cater for eventual snow conditions.
