You will enjoy a relaxing and tranquil stay at this wonderful church built in 1846 by Irish soldiers. Tom and I took on a challenge 4 years ago when we decided to renovate the church from top to bottom. It truly was a "labor of love"! Each suite has its own bathroom and something special to offer. Be pampered with down duvets, bathrobes, WiFi, Netflix as well as spectacular views and amazing breakfasts a la carte. Rated 4.5 Stars. This is a "Heritage" site set in the "York Redoubt National Park". You will enjoy this amazing historical setting right beside the Atlantic Ocean and walking paths will entice you. Enjoy a book or a glass of wine right by the heated pool overlooking the spectacular vistas from the open ocean to the Halifax harbor. The tranquility is like no other. Come in September or October and be mesmerized by the huge cruise ships gliding by our B&B. No matter what the reason for your visit, we love to share our very unusual home with you and hope you will enjoy it as much as we do. Weddings are welcome!

Tom and I enjoy building and designing. It took us almost 2 years until completion and the work will never be done 100%. Tom is a contractor and I run the B&B. We love to travel and make sure to recharge our batteries every winter. We have a little Chihuahua by the name of "Chico". He is our ray of sunshine. Tom also enjoys golfing and windsurfing. I like to snorkel and enjoy interior design or decorating challenges. We hope you will enjoy your stay and get spoiled by the wonderful nature surrounding you.

The property is only a 15-20 minute drive into Halifax. We have wonderful beaches very close by as well as Peggy's Cove. Annapolis Valley, Mahone Bay, Lunenburg and Lawrencetown beach are all very close and make for great day trips. Come and enjoy!
