It is our pleasure to welcome you to our Bed&Breakfast located in the heart of Arembepe. Overlooking the beach you will have the privilege of watching the sun rise from the ocean, having a morning swim in a natural pool right in front of the house and then having breakfast sitting on our varanda with a view of the ocean and beach. Our breakfast is prepared with special care and attention and we cater for most dietary requirements. We serve fresh fruits and juices, homemade cakes, jams, breads and yoghurt and bahian breakfast specialities. Then you can just spend your morning swinging in the hammock and strolling on the beach enjoying “il dolce far niente”; taking a walk on the beach to the nearby Projeto Tamar, the turtle sancturary and the famous Hippy Village or the beach called Pirui with its natural pools. For those who enjoy surfing or stand up paddle you are also at the right place. Arembepe is a good base from which to do trips to other beaches and villages such as Jacuipe, Guarajuba, Praia do Forte, Imbassai along the northern Coast of Bahia. On request we can serve lunch – our specialities include vegetarian , mediterranean, and Italian.

My name is Claudia, I’m Italian/German who grew up in Rome but I have been living in Brazil for almost a decade now. I am married to Luis, a Capoeira mestre and lifeguard. My passions are textiles, ceramics, yoga, literature, animals and cooking! I have had my B&B for 8 years.

Our B&B is located right in the centre of Arembepe, with the entrance on the main square, Praça das Amendoeiras, opposite the bank. There you can find a variety of restaurants, stalls with typical bahian street food like Acaraje, a supermarket and a bakery as well as handicraft shops and some little shops. As a special treat we recommend dining at “Mar Aberto” Restaurant, one of the best restaurants on the Litoral Norte with a beautiful terrace overlooking over the beach and ocean. They serve bahian specialities, fish and seafood as well some vegetarian dishes. On the second central square in Arembepe “Praça das Coquerios” you will find more small snack bars and restaurants and live music at the weekends. Not to forget that Arembepe is a fishing village and little harbour, where you can see the fishing boats arriving and the fish stalls are worth a visit.
