Family-run and passed from mother to daughter for over 50 years, Chez M remains a must in Ganvié. Renowned for its magnificent shop to many local artists, the inn has 19 rooms, directly on the lake. The inn has a room on the 2nd floor from which you can see the best view of the village and the way of life of its inhabitants of Ganvié, a lakeside town considered to be the "Venice of Africa". What's more, breakfast (included) is served directly on the first-floor terrace, offering panoramic views of the lake. Several tours are available from the inn itself with experienced local guides who offer great insights into Ganvié's history and culture.
