A LUXURIOUS STAY IN THE CITY CENTRE OF DE HAAN Doux Foyer is a charming house that dates from 1927. In March 2021 the property was fully renovated by owner and interior designer Tiene Laurent. The house is situated in the city centre of De Haan and is designed with a lot of attention to detail. As interior designer Tiene strived to create a home for every guest, a place where they can unwind and rest. Doux Foyer is close to restaurants, shops, supermarkets, bakeries, ... And is also very close to the tram.
Doux Foyer is run by Tiene and her daughter Ellen. Together they are very excited to get to know you and welcome you in their home.
De Haan is the place par excellence for a varied holiday. Whether you prefer a beach holiday or an active holiday, everyone can indulge themselves here. With its many walking and cycling routes, nature lovers can really indulge themselves here. A horse ride on the beach at sunset is also one of the possibilities. Holiday park Park of Center Parcs is located at 5 minutes from the accommodation where you can enjoy the subtropical swimming pool and many other facilities. In addition, with its central location, De Haan is the perfect base for visiting the larger cities such as Ostend and Bruges. Of course, the eye wants something too. Unlike the other seaside village at the Belgian coast, high-rise buildings of more than 5 floors are prohibited in De Haan-Centrum. The many immovable heritage sites, to which the accomodation belongs, make De Haan a truly authentic municipality. It is not for nothing that it is considered one of the most beautiful municipalities of Flanders. A supermarket, baker, butcher, chip shop, restaurants and bars can be found within walking distance of the accomodation. The water sports club De windhaan is 15 minutes walk away.
