Housed in a classified former notary residence dating back to 1892, The Museum benefits from a central location in historical Antwerp, 200 m from the Royal Museum of Fine Arts (KMSKA), 1.5 km from Groenplaats, Meir and Grote Markt. The Royal Museum of Fine Arts Antwerp is less than a 5-minute walk from The Museum. It is 1.8 km to the Steen and 2.2 km to Antwerp Central Station.
