Redrock Retreat is nestled on the escarpment of the Booie Range, offering singles and couples comfortable accommodation whilst they work in and explore Kingaroy and the South Burnett region. The two self-contained cabins are cantilevered over the escarpment, putting you amongst the treetops and serenity of the bushland surrounds. This is a place to unwind and relax, either after a day at work, or for an escape from Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast and beyond. FREE WIFI & NETFLIX NOW AVAILABLE The modern cabins provide a comfortable and cosy retreat, with everything needed for a self-contained stay. Occupying a nook high in the Booie Range, Redrock Retreat is set on 45 acres of private property comprised of native vegetation, timber plantation and old cattle yards. Country charm abounds and the cabins provide the best of the area. A natural bush experience which is close enough to Kingaroy to enjoy the amenities, but far enough away to be secluded, providing serenity and space. NOT PET FRIENDLY The cabins are not set up for pets so we ask that you make other arrangements for your pets when you come to stay with us.
Greg and Annette have recently purchased the 45 acre property on which Redrock Retreat is situated. Their aim is to make your stay private, comfortable and relaxing as you work in or explore the South Burnett. They have both grown up in the region and look forward to welcoming guests to Redrock Retreat so that they too can enjoy the serenity, hospitality and attractions that the South Burnett region has to offer.
Redrock Retreat is located on the Booie Range in South Burnett, traditional Wakka Wakka country. It’s a 10-minute drive from nearby Kingaroy and just under a 3-hour drive from Brisbane. In recent years, the Booie Range has enjoyed a resurgence amongst leisure and business travelers, who enjoy its proximity to town but appreciate its own unique charms and attractions. As well as Redrock Retreat, there’s award-winning wineries and cellar doors, gourmet cafes and restaurants, a vibrant arts community and plethora of outdoor activities available. This includes exploring on foot, endurance horse riding, freshwater fishing at the nearby Boondooma and Bjelke – Petersen Dams and easy access to the spectacular Bunya Mountains.
