We are the creators behind Mr Wilson’s… This quaint little cottage has recently been renovated, decorated, and furnished with vintage treasures alongside modern day luxuries making it a comfortable and cosy place to stay. Mr Wilson’s is the perfect base for exploring Penola Coonawarra and all the Limestone Coast offers. We look forward to welcoming you. During your stay We are available by phone at all times; within reason and not far away should you need assistance during your stay. We are happy to help you with pre-arrival arrangements as required.
Mr Wilson’s is a heritage listed gem built in the 1860s by Scotsman William Wilson for himself and his wife Agnes after a lucky find on the Victorian Goldfield’s. Mr Wilson’s is located on the historical Petticoat Lane in the heart of Penola. It’s walking distance to the main street where you will be spoilt for choice for dining options from cafes, bakery, pubs and fine dining. The Mary MacKillop Interpretative Centre is a short stroll away to explore the life of Australia’s first Saint. Head out and explore the Coonawarra Wine Region which is right on Mr Wilson’s doorstep or take a day trip or two to explore what the Limestone Coast has to offer We have free off road parking for 2 cars. Coonawarra Experiences have chauffeured wine tours.
