The house has been our weekender for the last few years, and we feel a little extra love in it makes your stay extra special. All you need to do is bring yourself a pair of swimmers and thongs. Whether it's a weekend with friends or your annual family holiday, we are sure you'll feel right at home immediately. Burleigh is the perfect mix of casual beachside living, with a peppering of city life in its beautiful food scene, whether you wander down to RIck Shaws or The Tropic,for a decadent experience or grab a roll at the Burleigh Baker - there is often no reason to stray much further than James Street for Breakfast, Lunch and after a nap, go back to see the transformation of the evening scene. The primary school has Farmer's Markets on Saturdays. Stock up on fresh fruit and vegetables, seafood, and other whole-food delights. A visit to Currumbin Sanctuary with the kids is a fabulous day out. You can also just take in the beach scene, wander the path that leads to the National Park, or hit the shops, cinemas, and more food at Pacific Fair in Broadbeach. Generally a family friendly, albeit busy neighborhood during the day, we are still lucky enough to be close enough to all the action of Surfer's and Broadbeach, where the night life is more "vibrant". For dogs, the beach is an on lead affair - which is enforced, or there's a dog park named Deodar about a 15 minute walk towards Miami. For kids there is the theme parks, about 30 minutes away, or bounce trampoline park south of Burleigh. Generally, a safe and relaxed environment awaits you here.
