Our journey started in 2012 when we moved from Colombia to Tasmania, looking for a better future for our son and new opportunities for ourselves. This beautiful island quickly became home, and we’ve loved every moment of our adventure here. We’ve been in tourism and hospitality since the very beginning, starting out as housekeepers and hosts in 2012. Over the years, we’ve dedicated ourselves to creating welcoming, comfortable stays for guests just like you. We now have the privilege of managing Aperture on behalf of the owners, making sure everything is perfect for your visit. For us, hosting with purpose means going beyond just providing a place to stay—we genuinely care about your experience and want you to feel at home. Welcome to Aperture, our journey! We’re so happy to share our home with you! We bought this house back in 1999 with the dream of making it our forever home after retirement. Over the years, we’ve poured our hearts into renovating it ourselves—it’s been challenging but fantastic for our family. Aperture when we first bought the house Our three children grew up here, and with every stage of life, this house has only become more special to us. We’ve spent our lives working in education and appreciating the things this region has to offer—ocean views with our morning coffee, afternoon swims at the nearby beach, and the peaceful rhythm of life in this beautiful part of Tasmania. Coles Bay is a stunning destination and home of the Wineglass Bay Lookout. At the skirts of the Freycinet National Park, there is plenty to explore and discover while visiting the region. Aperture is a three-bedroom family house located in Swanwick, a beach community just 5-minutes away from the main center of Coles Bay. Is the perfect place to relax and chill out away from the busy streets of Coles Bay town center, with stunning views of the coastline.
