Less than 10 minutes walk to lighthouse beach. Across the street is a tropical wetlands boardwalk and birdwatching area that leads you towards the 4WD and off-leash dog beach and camel rides. Dogs are allowed off leash south of the beach access and north to Watonga rocks. The patrolled surf beach is a short walk up the sand past Watonga rocks. If you take the path across the street it will also lead you to Blair reserve with a playground and dirt bike track. Great little cafes and convenience shops are a 5 minute walk. Coles, pharmacy and Tacking Point Tavern are 4km away.
