Company information

I am from Yorkshire in the UK and have been in Austria since 2004. I previously owned a small hotel in England and have been involved in tourism/hospitality all my working lives. I love Austria and want all my guests to enjoy the local and surrounding area as much as I do. I am here to offer you as much help and advice to achieve this goal- sightseeing transportation, eating out. No question is too much and I believe this philosophy to be the secret of why so many of my guests return in both winter and summer.

Property information

My apartment house is also my home, and I hope that you will feel at home, enjoy your stay and become part of our Sonnrain " family". Now in my 15th year many guests have visited every year , some 2 or 3 times. I value their loyalty and friendship, and genuinely look forward to them returning.

Neighbourhood information

Leogang sits perfectly as a gateway to the Austrian Ski Circus - Austria's largest linked area- 270km of linked skiing.We enjoy a "micro climate" which allows for some of the best snow/piste conditions in the area. In Summer we have superb biking facilities and are home to the Mountain Biking World Cup and World Championships. The Bike Park offers challenging downhill trails, and there are also many km's of touring paths, away from traffic where you can enjoy the wonderful scenery and tranquility of the region. Sightseeing opportunities abound, there are so many places to visit within a 1hour drive. Salzburg or Innsbruck can fulfil your shopping requirements and can be easily reached by car, bus or train .All summer guests receive a summer card included in the price of the apartment. This card offers numerous offers and activities, the main advantage however is that the Cable Car in Leogang and 4 others nearby are totally free once up/ down each day, and also the fantastic swimming pool and leisure centre in Leogang (100 mtrs from our apartments) plus 2 other similar pools are also unlimited free entry during your stay. Free children's activity and walking programme and much more
