The Ecologie Grundlsee is an eco-focused hideaway on the sunny hillside of the Ausseerland basin. It roots on the ground walls of an old cowshed and was developed with emphasis on many small details.
Construction and operation strategies are dominated by the principles of recycling economy and ecological resource management. Operational, the Ecologie Grundlsee is powered by energy from sun and wood, with a real-time independence degree >90%. In summarized view the building produzes more energy than it consumes. A three phase uninterruptible emergency power supply is also installed for blackout scenarios.
The 8 cozy apartments offer space for 2-5 persons each an provide a perfect base for discovering the Salzkammergut region. Around the house there are terraces and gardens which invite to pick from various herbs, fruits or vegetables.
Guests traveling using public transport are offered a free shuttle service for arrival and departure from Bad Aussee railway station and mountain bikes during the stay. There is high-speed WiFi, parking space and type 2 E-car charging points.
