Hotel Alpenhof lies in Bach, 3 km from the Großarl-Dorfgastein Ski Amade. The hotel serves a generous buffet breakfast with locally sourced products and offers a large garden, lounge, terrace and sauna. Free WiFi is available. Rooms are spacious, have a balcony and are furnished in Salzburg-style décor. In addition, they offer a seating area, cable TV and a private bathroom with a bath or shower. In November 2014, the new on-site restaurant is opening, offering dinner and half board menus. Free of charge, guests have access to private parking. Guided tours, free bicycles and barbecue facilities are available on request. A free ski bus stops in front of the house. For entertainment, there is table tennis, table football and billiards facilities. Ski storage and boot drying are on site. A children’s room with games is also available to use. Hiking, mountain biking, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing can be done directly from the hotel. In Großarl there is a Christmas market in November, swimming pool, restaurants, shops and cafés. A sport and fun park with basketball, tennis, beach volleyball, children's playground and mini golf is 3 km away.
