Along with the support team, this hostel was clean, organized, and conveniently located in the heart of Montevideo. I had a private room and was very pleased with the amenities provided. Upon request and for a very affordable fee, they provide top notch, European breakfast and laundry services to their guests. The team certainly goes out of their way to make their guests feel welcomed. It's no surprise they get repeat business from their guests because of their excellent service. I highly recommend Youki Haus (YH) Hostel to anyone visiting Montevideo, Uruguay. Keep up the great work!

The location just around the corner of Parque Rodó is good considering the Montevideo old town is a rather gloomy place especially after dark. By contrast Rodó park is adjacent to Ramirez beach and the more modern and comfortable parts of town are close by. After having stayed at two other very noisy hostels in the city, Youki Haus managed by a German-French couple, is quiet and if there is a complaint about noise, they know where you are talking about and solve the issue. Moreover, there are several spaces like a living room and a roof terrace where you can retreat. The kitchen is well-equipped and never dirty! The hostel managers are always around to address any queries or just for a chat. Really very social people, as well as the other members of staff. All facilities like hot shower, toilets, WiFi worked well. Spanish, English, German and French fluently spoken by the management.

Ciudad Vieja is a good and interesting place to stay (tho it can feel a bit sketchy at night) - so if you're not bothered about shared bathrooms, overall this place is a treat.
