This facility has lots of Publix space. The basement has a large modern kitchen, eating area, Japanese style reading room and a laundry. The first floor has a check-in area and lovely coffee shop. My room upstairs was small but nicely laid out and the bathroom was clean if somewhat small. Honestly the hostel far exceeded my expectations. He location was excellent; near lots of restaurants and a gather space for a small market-like open area with a fre musicians. I would stay there again and recommend it to family and friends. The staff was very friendly and helped me call a taxi among other things. The cafe had an excellent selection of coffees and teas but a very limited breakfast menu. However the food I had for breakfast was delicious and I ate at other places for other meals.

Hostel were super clean and Chris was good host.Also his friends and other guests were kindness as well, so I felt this place was like a home. As most of them were repeat visitors, I think I’ll be that too.

The host (Shaun) was so nice. I immediately felt welcome and was introduced to some of the other guests, who I ended up getting dinner with. Any hostel can give you a bed, this one gave me a fantastic experience and some lovely friends. thank you Shaun.

Providing free WiFi, 40Inn Backpackers Warehouse is situated in Taitung City, 500 metres from Taitung Railway Art Village and 700 metres from Taitung Zhonghe Temple. I really found a piece of home here. The staff is super friendly, and made sure I had a new, different place to eat everyday. I am grateful for the conversations with Sarah, and the little attentions from Didi. And fun times with the cat Audi! The hostel is nicely located near the bus station and 7-11/family mart nearby, and lots of good food. It's really clean and there is parking space for scooters, and an inner yard for your bicycle.

The breakfast was amazing, she picked me up from the station, shared her best tips on the region and made hotpot for her guests during a storm! Best place in town!

Lovely cats, and great atmosphere! One of the kind owners gave me some muscle cream after a day of cycling, was very grateful. The rooms were clean, amenities were all right and like that they have you donate to a charity for earplugs or other little extras. Overall, very pleased with this last minute booking.
