Whether for a short or long stay - Casavia is a really great hostel with the best staff (especially the receptionist)! There was always someone cleaning, improving, helping or cooking. There is a great range of social activities, but in a pleasant amount so that you also have enough space to retreat and relax. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped, the common area is cozy and large, you can work and do yoga in peace. I will definitely be back!

The air-conditioned rooms are simple yet very comfortable, perfect for a restful stay. Here, you can truly soak in the authentic atmosphere of the North, with local children playing in the streets and friendly residents who greet you with a smile. We were delighted to have discovered this place!

The beds were spacious and comfortable. out and relax. The hostel also has a generator, which is a big plus for ensuring reliable power. The staff were nice, friendly, and attentive throughout my stay.

The kitchen is free to use so I could make coffee in the morning. The owner is nice and easy going. The wifi is surprisingly very good

We had been looking for something a bit outside of GL and Haole was just perfect. The host was incredibly kind, gave us perfect tips in perfect english. During our stay there was a brief time without water, which the host immediately had fixed for us. The room was super clean and amazing for us, with a shared terrace with freezer, water-refill, a darts game and plenty of space to hang out. The rest of the staff was also super kind. They are handling both the hostel and a restaurant downstairs, which is also very nice! They even fried some eggs that we brought ourselves, as for vegetarians the restaurant does not have that many options. 5 min by scooter from the hostel (bumpy road) there is a beautiful beach (Oceans 9) with a beginner friendly surf spot (beach break, left wave). I have to say, you do need a scooter in this area, distances too far to walk everything.

Super loved that our room is right in front of the pool. The staff were very accommodating and the shared space is always so welcoming and inviting. They have on-site motorcycle and e-bike rentals. Which is pretty convenient especially that the roads are sort of narrow and unpaved in Siargao. It is a quick 10 mins to the Tourism Road and nearest bank.
